This is a great desk. arrived in good condition and went together easy. all hardware was included that is needed for assembly. good buyThe quality is very good for this price. It is constructed with particle board and held together with wooden dowels and cam locks like most low cost furniture but the pieces are thick and very heavy. It feels very solid and the finish on it looks nice. It matches my natural Maple file cabinet that I already had perfectly. There are 2 access holes for cords and wires, and a gap under the long side to slide cords under to get to the receptacle. It comes with plastic inserts to hide the hardware once assembled, however if you expect to move it around multiple times I recommend not covering these up. You will want to disassemble to move to a different location if needed as it is probably not sturdy enough to survive a moving truck or flight of stairs.Overall, a good purchase and works for my needs. The description for the 60W x 43D Right Hand L-Bow Desk was accurate. This desk is very professional looking, heavy-duty, and easy to assemble (only 4 pieces). Naturally it's particle board, but the facing still looks great. The back piece is not quite flush on top with the left side piece and thus there is the slightest sliver of light getting through the space where the top connects to both, but really not noticeable unless you get down there and look for it since the curved part of the desktop piece extends outward a little ways. The left and right sides each have two adjustable feet, so you should be able to easily eliminate any wobble (not a problem for me as I have it on carpet).Assembly (including cleaning and dusting each piece) took less than an hour, done by myself (28 year old male), although it probably would have been easier and faster with a second person. The most difficult part is lifting the desktop piece and placing it precisely, aligning the dowels with the holes; but I just placed it on top, got underneath, and shifted it a bit here and there until it all fell into place. It should be noted that the back piece doesn't go all the way down to the floor, there's about 6-8 inches of clearance or so.The packaging was okay, although the styrofoam used tends to get everywhere and the static electricity generated makes it a bit of a pain to clean/dust off. It came with a few minor scuffs here and there, but nothing really noticeable. The space on the desktop is quite big and easily sufficient for me. Even with my 27 inch monitor, keyboard and mouse on the big corner, and lamp on the small corner, there's still plenty of room to lay out a textbook and a notebook for studying/schoolwork/etc. It doesn't seem to be quite as big as the typical rectangular executive-type desks I've seen, but close, and works out perfectly for me.Overall a fantastic minimalist, professional looking desk on a budget.Short Version:This is a very solid, heavy, sturdy desk that I'm very pleased with and would recommend to anyone that has a small to mid-size office.Long Version:The unit comes in 3 packages, 1)L-shape 2)Side desk 3)File cabinetJust a warning: the L-shape box is at least 120 lbs, so you might need help carrying it around. The main desk took about 45 minutes to put together, the file cabinet took around 1-2 hours to put together. The instructions were VERY basic. I think the instructions were made for people who have experience assembling this type of stuff. The overall feel of the desk is nice. It has a thick, solid feel to it. I'm pretty sure it could withstand a heavy load on top. The top of the desk is a little over 1 inch thick, just for comparison. The little stuff:- There are cable management holes in the top of the desk (as you can see by the images), however you don't see that there are also holes in the side panels too, which was really nice when running monitor wires an power cords.- You can't see by the image too well, but in front of the inside curve section, the outer top of the desk is also slightly curved. So even though it's technically an L-bow desk, it has a slight "J" shape to it.- The file cabinet is just another perk to this deal, it's solid if built correctly. The only negative thing about the desk is that one of the legs was dinged up during shipping. The good thing was that leg was also on the inside of the unit, so you can't tell. With the total weight of this bad boy, I was impressed with the lack of damage to any of the boxes. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase. The item wasn't as advertised. The item only comes with the corner L shaped piece. The extension and the cabinet are not included. That said, I ordered this w/ the assumption that everything in the picture was included. It is not. Please understand that this is a misprint. I received only the L corner piece(by the way I received it well ahead of scheduled. I ordered on aug 13th and arrived on aug 18th and received the second half of the order that following friday on sep 2nd). I wrote a note to the people at Everything Furniture asking if there was a second part of the order, and what happened if not? They responded promptly and addressed the problem, shipped the other advertised half of the order. With no extra cost to me. My experience was very pleasant. I would recommend them as far as their customer service and reliability. Although they had a order up that doesn't match the delivered goods. It was addressed and taken care of in a very timely manor. As for the desk itself it is beautiful. The desk is very sturdy and spacious without taking up a whole lot of room. The placement of the cuts and lining up of holes for the drawers in the cabinet were kind of haphazardly placed. You have to be careful when tightening up of the screws or the alignment will be off went fully erected. This was definitely a great buy if the cost reflected everything advertised. Hope this helps, happy hunting.
