Remodeling our basement, my fiancé and I (who have been working to combine households) decided that we wanted to get rid of my old behemoth of a desk and get matching ones for use to game at. Enter - ordering two of these desks.Overall, the desks are well proportioned and fit both an iMac and a second monitor on the riser. The textured coating on the flat surfaces is great, easy to clean, and allow for items like key board and mouse pad to not slide around that we have found on other smoother surfaced desks.Putting these desks together was fairly simple, even considering the Ikea-esk type instructions. However, all parts are well labeled and where the different screws and bolts go is easy to follow. A majority of the build can be done by a single person, however, when attaching the top back panel, that supports the desktop, it does require a second person if attempting to put together upright. I'm sure if you modified the build so that it was built on "its back" a single person could handle it.However, I will offer one insight, there are two decorative pieces at the top - Square pieces to cover the ends of the top monitor riser - these two pieces are added before installing the riser's flat surface. I would recommend not installing the top two screws on either of these pieces until the riser is installed otherwise the riser will get hung up on the screw heads.Again, overall, I am very happy with these desks. The one downside I had, was I received one of the desks with a damaged piece. Though it took a bit to actually connect with someone (I first followed the information on the instructions and emailed Tribesign directly without an answer, followed by attempting to contact them via their website, again, this is per the provided instructions, finally I opted to contact the seller via Amazon).I suggest messaging the seller directly through Amazon. Though there is a delay in replies (I believe they are in a different timezone from myself) they were friendly, offered a few options on how to correct the issue, and finally were able to get me the replacements I needed within a week of first contact. Excellent customer service!!100% get this if you want a sturdy low-cost option for a gaming desk. Just know you may have to *easily* uninstall the shelf for your PC case as it doesn’t fit most nice gaming computer cases. It would work fine for a “work-only” PC case I bet. Not a deal breaker for my husband and I though.I needed a desk for PC gaming and couldn't afford much. I found this one after looking all over and figured I could try it out as it is a pretty great price. I am shocked at how amazing the quality is! We ended up buying another one for my husbands PC. I really love the bottom shelves, I have a smaller case so it fit perfectly so I can keep my tower off the carpet. My husbands case is quite a bit bigger than mine so he just sat the shelf on the floor and put his PC tower on it instead of mounting the shelf and it works just fine. I was also shocked at how much space is on the desk top, works great when I need to use a notebook to write down gaming stuff while not having to move my keyboard/mouse.I will say that you really have to pay attention to parts when assembling as my husband did confuse himself a few times when assembling his own desk.My biggest issue is the white stickers to tell which piece is which are VERY difficult to peel off. I've yet to get them all because they take forever to peel all the way and get all the leftover pieces of adhesive.Other than that, this desk is incredibly great quality and very sturdy! We have toddlers that climb all the furniture and it has so far had no issues when they sneak onto it.I had been looking for a sturdy, work at home desk that could accommodate my two monitor set up, that wasn’t too expensive. I didn’t want something that was cheaply made either. Ordering furniture online is always a crap-shoot, even when the ratings are high, but I ran the ratings thru Review Meta and it passed. So, I took a chance. The desk was super sturdy and I was able to put it together all by myself in a little over an hour. I didn’t give the assembly 5 stars only because a few of the holes were hard to screw into, but not impossible. It added to the time a bit, but not excessively. Otherwise, it wasn’t that bad. However, I found it was easier to watch the videos as a guide instead of the included instructions for the first stages of assembly, then used the paper instructions for the details the videos were vague on for the last stages (the heavier parts). The tiny screwdriver that it comes with was easier to use with gloves (strangely household rubber gloves worked great). It was better than being given an L-wrench, so I was fine with it. I honestly didn’t expect it to be as sturdy as people were saying , but thankfully that was true. I also, had all my parts, nothing was damaged and the white version I purchased had no visible scuffs or marks. I’m VERY satisfied with this product. The desk was very simple to put together and very sturdy. Great desk for gaming and tons of space to put everything!BUT for mid-tower PCs, the back board covers the top connections and you will need to drill a door handle size hole in it.I thought I was going to give a poor review because when I finally received my desk after delivery was delayed 3 or 4 times by the supplier, the box had been destroyed. One end of the box was being held together with tape. I was afraid to open the box and see what had happened to my desk. I was so surprised to find all the hardware, I thought it would have been lost with the box being destroyed. My biggest surprise, there was only 1 small dent in 1 board. I am so happy with my desk.Won't fit my tower case p.c. and printer just barely fits, this is more like for a laptop set up or even a Mac p.c
